Serving the area since 1984, Fredericksburg Healing Arts & Yoga Center was established by Vimala Ren Fields for the purpose of teaching hatha yoga, breath work and meditation as a means toward strength, freedom of movement, serenity and overall well being. The center offers workshops and special classes to address specific needs for “Kids”, “Golden” and “Pre/Post Natal students.” Students have the opportunity to experience regularly the practice and philosophy of yoga as well as many other related topics such as Meditation, Chi Kung, Reiki, Acu-Yoga, Aromatherapy and Homeopathy through monthly wellness workshops and special week-end forums. The teachers of the center are certified and nationally registered yoga teachers or teacher candidates.

Hours count toward yoga teacher certification. The American Healing Arts Yoga Teacher Certification program is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 200 hour certification program. Healing Touch is a nursing based continuing education program for registered nurses, physicians, body therapists, counselors, psycho-therapists, other health professionals, and individuals desiring an in-depth understanding and practice of healing work using energy based concepts.
With Healing Touch you will discover a variety of hands-on techniques that facilitate energy balance for wholeness within the body supporting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. In your first Healing Touch class you will learn the energy centers of the body and energy anatomy.
