What is Thai Yoga Massage?
Thai Yoga Massage is performed on the floor on dense mats and blankets. The recipient is fully clothed in loose and comfortable attire.
In receiving Thai Yoga Massage one is also receiving the benefits of the practice of yoga. This technique has been described as assisted Hatha Yoga. A Thai Yoga Massage also incorporates gentle martial arts moves, rhythmic motion, palming and thumbing along sen energy lines and marma acupressure points, gentle stretching, breathwork and ancient Indian healing system of Ayurveda. The practitioner uses their hands, feet, arms and legs to gently guide the recipient into various yoga postures to create a dynamic and centering, slow flowing "dance".
